Hey gang,
I have been doing a little tilling/plowing around town and I managed to bend a blade on the rotary plow. Obviously I need to adjust the clutch on the plow a bit, but aside from that, I need to straighten the blade.
I'm thinking I ought to heat it before I bend it back. Any thoughts? Also, does anyone know if the blades are just mild steel or are they made out of something harder? eventually I think I'll wear out the ones I've got and I'd like to know what I ought to make them out of. Agri-Supply sells lots of plow blades, discs, and such that I could cut them from.

Disregard the last message-- I read the manual that Chip Old has on his website.
"Blades: High Strength Carbon Steel"
Also noted the clutch adjustment procedure in the same manual.

What is the title of the manual? I can't find any reference to that in your message.
